Acupuncture healing

Acupuncture has helped people feel better for thousands of years. It is gentle, it is calming, and for many people, it works when other things have not.

What acupuncture is

Acupuncture uses very thin needles placed at specific points on the body.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, we think of it as helping the flow of energy, or Qi (said “chee”), move smoothly again so the body can do what it is built to do: heal itself.

In modern terms, acupuncture gently stimulates nerves, muscles, and connective tissue, which helps switch on the body’s own healing response.

What acupuncture can help with

Everyone responds differently, and I will always be honest with you about what to expect.

  • Chronic and acute pain
  • Stress and anxiety
  • Digestive issues
  • Fertility, for both women and men
  • Fatigue and low energy
  • Post-stroke recovery
  • Bell’s palsy
