Sometimes the mind wants to focus, but the body has other ideas

Difficulty concentrating. Restlessness. Mental fatigue. Feeling scattered. Trouble settling down. For children and adults alike, focus can be influenced by many different things.

We look beyond a label and explore the individual.

A boy lying in the grass, absorbed in the book he is reading.

We may explore

  • Focus and concentration
  • ADHD and ADD support
  • Mental clarity
  • Restlessness
  • Stress-related difficulty focusing
  • Nervous system overwhelm
  • Fatigue and brain fog
  • Environmental or food sensitivities

The nervous system matters

Acupuncture may support nervous system regulation and help the body move toward a more balanced state.

For some patients, we may also use neuromuscular response testing and NAET to explore whether particular sensitivities or patterns are contributing to the way the body is responding.

Our goal is not to change who you are. It is to support the conditions that may allow your natural abilities to come forward more easily.

This work sits beside whatever else you are already doing. It is never a reason to change your child’s care without talking to your doctor.

Every person is different

A child struggling to focus may have a very different underlying pattern from an adult experiencing brain fog. That is why we do not begin with assumptions.

We listen. We explore. We individualize.

Supporting the whole person

Sometimes a small shift can create room for something new. A child may feel more settled in the classroom. An adult may feel more present at work. Someone living with mental fatigue may begin to feel more like themselves again.

These changes can take time, and results vary from person to person.

What patients say

“It is harder to be distracted. It is easier to focus.”
NAET for ADD/ADHD

A gentle place to begin.

If you or your child are looking for supportive care around focus, attention, or ADHD, we would be happy to talk about whether acupuncture or NAET may be appropriate.
