Pain is more than a single sore spot
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, pain is understood in relationship to the movement of Qi and blood through the body. When that movement becomes restricted, discomfort can follow.
Acupuncture stimulates specific points throughout the body, helping influence the nervous system, circulation, muscle tone, and the body’s natural pain-regulating processes. Your treatment is individualized to you, not simply to the spot that hurts.
Depending on your needs, treatment may include acupuncture, NAET, cupping, electrical stimulation, Tuina and Asian Bodywork, or other supportive techniques. Learn about acupuncture.
More than getting out of pain
Sometimes the goal is not simply to make the pain go away. It is:
- I want to sleep.
- I want to exercise again.
- I want to play pickleball with my friends.
- I want to pick up my grandchild.
- I want to move without thinking about my body all day.
That is where meaningful care begins. We love hearing when someone’s world gets a little bigger because their body feels a little freer.
What patients say
“My hips do not hurt anymore. Thank you.”
“You just live with something so long, you forget about it. Then it was gone, and I was like, oh, nice.”
“Way less pain than when I came in.”
Your body has a remarkable capacity for change.
Our role is not to force the body, but to create the conditions that support it. If pain or limited mobility has been keeping you from the life you want, we would be honored to help.
