Yesterday I was making my son a birthday cookie cake. The recipe called for hand-chopping the chocolate chips.
So I grabbed a knife and started chopping. And chopping. And chopping.
A few minutes in, I stopped and laughed. Why am I doing this? The food processor was sitting right beside me. It would have taken about five seconds.
What if there was another way?
Sometimes we just follow the recipe we have been given. Not because it is the best way, but because it is the only way we have ever known.
That little kitchen moment reminded me of something I see in the clinic.
Every year, people brace for cedar season. Or ragweed. Or mold. Or spring pollen. The usual recipe often looks like this: take another allergy pill, use another nasal spray, wait for the season to pass, repeat next year.
Those things may help with symptoms, but they do not always address why the body is reacting in the first place.
Looking beyond symptom management
That is one of the reasons I love NAET. Instead of just helping people get through allergy season, we gently work to help the body create a different relationship with the things it is reacting to. Learn how NAET works.
I have seen patients find real relief from cedar, mold, grasses, ragweed, foods, and many other sensitivities.
My hope is always the same. Not just getting through the season, but enjoying it. Maybe there is an easier way. Maybe your body is capable of something different. See cedar and seasonal allergy relief.
With love and appreciation,
Darcie
